Object or Artifact: Brown Twin Bed Frame

Listen, we know this stuff looks cool, but none of it is valuable. For real. We are just very good storytellers, so don't steal our old stuff.

History and Details Regarding

Brown Twin Bed Frame

This bed frame was originally placed in an Uncle John’s room. It replaced a fragile rope bed frame that had been in that room. John moved back into his old bedroom after his wife May Worthington died from cancer. Uncle John was no featherweight, and a sturdier bed was necessary to support him. I’m guessing the bed was purchased in the 1980s.

During the 2023 renovation, I moved one of the full sized wrought iron beds into Uncle John’s room. I sent the junky cot that had been in Mr. Jack’s room to the dump and moved the brown twin bed frame into that room.
