Careful observers will notice that the mirror on this vanity doors not match the base. Sallie Fitzhugh bought this piece at a junk sale at m unknown time with this mismatched mirror already attached. Its age is not known, but it seems to be Victorian.

In March 2023 I (Jenny Smith) did some work to restore this piece. I treated it with furniture One of the original stamped metal handles was missing and the other was hanging from just one eye bolt and bent irreparably. I ordered some similar reproduction hardware pulls from Hardwick and Sons and installed them.

The round knobs appear to be original.
