Object or Artifact: Striped Bernhardt Loveseat and Chair

Listen, we know this stuff looks cool, but none of it is valuable. For real. We are just very good storytellers, so don't steal our old stuff.

History and Details Regarding

Striped Bernhardt Loveseat and Chair

Jenny was given this loveseat by Jordan and Jimmy Baszkowski of Mechanicsville, Virginia. They had listed the loveseat online for sale, but they graciously gave the loveseat and a chair to us. Davis Moore and Jared Smith accompanied Jenny to pick it up on March 18, 2023. The chair and loveseat had been owned by a wealthy family friend of the Baszkowski’s who gave it to them when they had first married. The loveseat had a rip on one side of the detachable cushion which had been done by the family dog, who loved the loveseat before us.  Both are good quality furniture. The chair maker is unknown but it has beautiful claw legs.  Both are believed to be mid-century furniture.
